The Dutch Pauper League is excited to host the 1st Stroopwafel International Pauper Tour!

Don't miss this extraordinary chance to have fun with international Pauper communities and win amazing tournament prizes! The winner also gets flight tickets to Lucca and (hopefully) a bye for the Paupergeddon - Winter Edition (March 2026)!

Who will be crowned king in the largest Pauper tournament of the Netherlands?

The Dutch Pauper League (DPL) is officially part of the international association of Pauper leagues, coordinated by Lega Pauper Italia (LPI). An International Pauper Tour (IPT) is a tournament organized within the LPI circuit with the prerogative of inviting players internal and external to the organizing league. When 100+ players register for an IPT, the tournament is automatically upgraded to a Super IPT, for more prestige, more prizes and a Paupergeddon bye.

With the Stroopwafel IPT we are also excited to announce the beginning of the North Sea Tour, a joint initiative between the Dutch Pauper League, the London Pauper League and the Lega Pauper Lipsia. In the last few years, our 3 leagues have built good connections and now we are ready to start together a series of tournaments that will span 3 countries with the sincere hope to further unify our Pauper communities.

The Stroopwafel IPT is the 1st stop of the North Sea Tour. The next stops will be in London (~April) and Leipzig (~October), with two other IPTs, each targeting 100+ players (dates to be announced). We are working together to give players the option to win throughout the year a bye for each Paupergeddon! In addition, the best overall player of the IPTs will be declared the North Sea Tour Champion and win an exclusive playmat!

Please, take your time to read carefully the information below and enjoy what we have organized for you!

At the beginning of round 1, decklists are automatically locked. Judges can perform deck checks. Please, contact us if you have issues submitting your decklist on TopDeck.

CANCELLATION AND TRANSFER: If you registered for the event and you are not able to attend, you can un-register via TopDeck. You can get a full refund for the ticket cost if and only if you un-register before January 4 (included). We will not be able to refund tickets from January 5 (included) onwards. Tickets are not transferable to other players and they are tied to the TopDeck account used for purchase.

PRIZES: The prize pool and the number of awarded winners will depend on the final number of registered players. Regardless of the number of registered players, the Dutch Pauper League will guarantee a prize pool of 1,000.00 €, round-trip flight tickets to Lucca for the Paupergeddon (in the form of vouchers redeemable with an airline of choice), and points for the North Sea Tour overall ranking. We are ambitiously targeting a prize pool of 3,500.00 € for 128 registered players. In the upcoming weeks we will publish and update the prize grid with more details. Please, check back later on the event page for up to date information.

PAUPERGEDDON BYE: According to the LPI rules for foreign leagues, if 100+ players register for the event, the IPT is automatically upgraded to a Super IPT. In this case, we can award a bye for the Paupergeddon - Winter Edition (March 2026)! If less than 100 players will register, no bye will be assigned. We are confident we will reach 100 players, since the DPL has more than 150 unique players. Please, help us reaching this threshold and make this event a success!

LPI POINTS: According to the LPI rules, if 33+ players register for the event, LPI Points will be awarded for the event for the LPI international ranking. If 100+ players register for the event, more LPI Points will be awarded, as Super IPT have a higher multiplier! If less than 33 players will register, no LPI point will be assigned.

PROXIES: Proxies are not allowed.

NORTH SEA TOUR POINTS: Points collected during the Stroopwafel IPT will contribute to the final ranking of the North Sea Tour. The player with most points across the 3 IPTs will be declared the North Sea Tour Champion at the end of the year and win an exclusive playmat!

ACCESSIBILITY: The location is wheelchair accessible. If you have additional questions or specific needs, feel free to email us.

WI-FI: A guest network will be available by Stayokay Hostel.

SIDE EVENTS: No side event is formally planned for the day. However, if players are interested, they will be able to spontaneously organize themselves and play a Pauper cube, or Dandân, or Piombini. Cards and decks will be made available by the DPL.

Please, spread the word! We greatly rely on you to make this event a success!
