Prizes, Points & Paupergeddon Bye
Prize Pool
The final prize structure and number of awarded places scale with the number of players. Regardless of attendance, the Dutch Pauper League guarantees:
- Minimum 1,000 € prize pool
- Round-trip flight tickets to Lucca for Paupergeddon (as airline vouchers)
- North Sea Tour ranking points
With 128 registered players, we are aiming for a 3,000 € prize pool.
The detailed prize grid will be published and updated on the event page as we get closer to the tournament.
Paupergeddon Bye
Under LPI rules for foreign leagues, if 100+ players register, the Stroopwafel IPT becomes a Super IPT.
In that case, we can award a bye for Paupergeddon – Winter Edition (March 2026). If fewer than 100 players register, no bye will be assigned.
The DPL already has more than 150 unique players, so reaching 100 is within reach – your registration helps unlock the bye.
LPI Points
- 33+ players: LPI Points are awarded for the LPI international ranking.
- 100+ players: more LPI Points are awarded, as Super IPTs use a higher multiplier.
- Fewer than 33 players: no LPI Points are assigned.
North Sea Tour Points
Points earned at the Stroopwafel IPT count toward your overall ranking in the North Sea Tour.
At the end of the year, the player with the most points across the three IPTs will be crowned North Sea Tour Champion and awarded an exclusive playmat.
Side Events & Casual Magic
Self-Organised Side Games
There are no official side events scheduled for the Stroopwafel IPT.
However, if players are interested, they are welcome to self-organise casual games during the day.
The DPL will provide the necessary cards and decks so groups can sit down and play without bringing their own. You’ll be able to jam:
